Tomorrow is a very special home game. Our missions team will be working concessions as MHCA vs. Rush starting at 4:30pm. All proceeds from concessions will go towards the costs of the team's upcoming trip to Guatemala to serve! Support our Eagle basketball and our Missions team all in one night out! Hope to see you there!

We had a fun week dressing up for Red Ribbon Week! Just a reminder that Monday we will be back in our school uniforms and that will be the first day of our diaper drive for the MH Christian Clinic. Have a great weekend and don't forget to set your clocks back an hour on Saturday night! ---Mrs. C

Dear 9th–12th Grade Boys and Parents,

After receiving board approval, I’m excited to share details about MHCA’s newest discipleship program — The Armor Room. The goal of this program is to help develop our young men in a challenging but vital area: emotional and spiritual health. We’ll be pursuing this growth through intense Bible studies paired with submission grappling as a way to build discipline, confidence, and brotherhood.

Because of the physical nature of the program, we believe it’s important to involve parents directly in the process. To that end, I’ll be hosting a parent meeting on November 10, at 5:30 p.m. (immediately following basketball practice).

During this meeting, I’ll present the vision and structure of The Armor Room, answer any questions you may have, and provide the mandatory liability and medical waiver required for participation. While attendance at the meeting is not required for your son to participate, it is highly encouraged to ensure you have a full understanding of the program.

Parents are also welcome to attend any Armor Room sessions to observe firsthand what your sons are learning and experiencing.

Thank you for allowing us at MHCA to continue discipling your students as they grow into Christlike young men.

A couple of important announcements:

  • The Christian Clinic is in need of many items, and with the government shutdown those needs may be amplified. MHCA has committed to help fill a need. We are hosting a diaper drive! We will begin accepting packages of diapers beginning Nov. 3rd - Nov. 14th. Help us help our brothers and sisters in our community!

  • There's still a few 7th/8th grade parent/guardians who have not completed the Creation Museum/Ark trip interest form. If you have not, it's not too late, please take a second to complete it now. https://forms.gle/3K88N1HDzp64SGw78

  • K-12 families, if you have not approved your tuition payment request in Classwallet, please log in and take care of this today. If you need step by step instructions, you can access those here: https://5il.co/3p4lc

  • Many of you have asked if the uniform portal could be re-opened so you could make additional purchases. It is now open! You can shop until Sunday, November 23rd. https://mhcauniforms.itemorder.com/shop/home/ You can also find the portal through our website, under News.
