Hello Eagle families,

We will post Service opportunities here. There will be many chances to fulfill your service hours for your family for the 25-26 school year.

  • Baxter County Fair booth (Primarily for parents, but students, 6th and older, may serve with a parent.) This need has been met at this time.

  • Volleyball Concessions and Gate Sign-up (Students may serve with a parent) This need has been met at this time.

  • Uniform Sorting and Organizing Adults need to sort and organize our retired MHCA logos so that we can get those ready to donate. *This need has been met at this time.

  • Decorate MHCA for Christmas or Pack up decorations after Christmas Adults needed after Christmas to take down and pack up Christmas decor. Sign up to help here.

  • Kingdom Life Thanksgiving Outreach This need has been met. here are many serving options for Friday, November 21 (6-8pm) and Saturday, November 22 (10-noon). This is a great way too serve with your student and it's a lot of fun. Volunteer registration closes November 19.

  • Bakers needed for Pastor Appreciation Breakfast at MHCA This need has been met, thanks to all who provided food. We hosted 30 local pastors! MHCA is hosting local pastors this Monday, Oct. 27 from 8-9am for a pastor appreciation breakfast. First, invite your pastors to come, and second, help us feed them well. If you can provide a breakfast dish or pastries, please complete the google form.

  • Decorate the Christmas Float Meet on Thursday, Dec. 4 (3-6) or Friday, Dec. 5 (9-completion) to put the float together. Jesse Warner, our float coordinator, will be there to give vision and help as well as provide the supplies. Stay as little or as long as you're able.

  • Chaperone students at the Christmas parade on the MHCA float Ride or walk along with the MHCA Christmas float and chaperone students. Chaperones need to arrive between 5 and 5:15 at Regional Family Medicine to load onto the float.

  • Basketball Concessions and Gate Sign-up Parents, Guardians, and MHCA adult friends may serve with their student or with other parents. Sign up to serve here.

  • Pastries with Parents Set-up or Tear-down Set up will take place Wednesday afternoon, February 4th, from 2:30-4:00pm, tear-down will take place Thursday morning, February 5th from 8:30-9:15 or immediately following morning assembly.

  • Pastor Appreciation Breakfast (update: We have all the volunteers we need for this event) Our pastors enjoyed the breakfast so much before, we decided to make it a regular occurrence. We are anticipating around 25 local pastors at 8:00am on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Would you mind baking something or purchasing a breakfast food to share? Earn a service hour by signing up to participate. We've tried to limit the amount of food in each category so that we will not have too much. Use the link to sign up. Food needs to arrive by 8:00am on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

  • Sign up to Serve at Night w/y Knight and the Father Daughter Ball: If your Family still needs volunteer hours to meet the 10 hour per school year guideline, now is the time! Positions to serve: loading carriages, check-in, working in the store, serving food and drinks, etc. You can choose a single shift or take multiple! Many hands make light work.

    Students: We are only able to use students in grades 7th grade and older as volunteers. They may serve in the ballroom with the food and drink. Thanks in advance to those who volunteer!

  • Sort, hang, and organize MHCA uniform closet/teacher workroom: This service opportunity is open for any school day. You can select day and time that you would like to serve. We will leave this open until the job is complete.

  • Sign up to help setup for the High School Formal! This involves setting up and decorating for the High School Formal. Volunteers will need to meet in Cotter (502 2nd street) at 12:30 on Thursday, April 16.

  • Sign up to bring breakfast for our Pastors! Our quarterly Pastor's Breakfast is set for Tuesday, April 21st. Please only add your name to a column with a white space. If all the white spaces are filled with names, then we have all that we need. We are anticipating around 20 participants. Bring your food directly to the MHCA Gym Tuesday morning before 8:00am. Service hours will be added to the portal on your behalf for providing breakfast items.

  • Sign up to provide breakfast or volunteer for Teacher Appreciation Monday Monday, May 11th, help us show our teachers how much we appreciate all that they do. We would like to help provide a great breakfast to start off their week. Sign up to bring a breakfast item or volunteer to help set up (7:30-8:00am) the morning of the event. Bring your food items directly to the gym before 8:00am. Service hours will be added on your behalf to the Family portal.
