EFA families: Just a quick update about EFA tuition payments. Even though most every person has approved the tuition requests, our school has only received 4 students' funding as of today. Mrs. Forrest cannot apply the payments to your FACTS account until the funding is received by the school. We're sending this message so that when you log into FACTS and see the full amount due on April 30th, you will know the payment likely has not been received yet and hasn't been posted. We will be watchful and will move the due date again if necessary for the payments that may not arrive in time. I'm not certain why it's taken so long this time but it would be good for you to know the process that happens at every Quarter tuition payment. See the attached image that will show you a flow chart of how it works.
Everyone: Also, it's important for you to know that FACTS has amped up their security with logins and passwords and it's likely that some of you may have some trouble logging into FACTS starting today. If you have any trouble logging in, please reach out. I may be able to help you, but if I can't, I can send you the Facts helpline number.
Everyone: Finally, we have several volunteer opportunities to provide food or setup for Monday, May 11 of Teacher Appreciation Week. Setup will be from 7:30-8:00 and you will get a service hour! See our serving page for details: https://www.mountainhomechristianacademy.com/article/2361539

The Pastor's Breakfast was a success and was well received. We saw many new faces and several pastors we've served before. Thanks to all who helped make it possible. Service hours have been input on your behalf.
Service Hours have also been input for those that recruited sponsors for our Community events, Father Daughter Ball and Night with your Knight. Thanks to all who solicited sponsors or even sponsored yourself. If you do not see your hours reflected correctly in the family portal, please reach out, I may have overlooked you. Remember, you can input service hours in the family portal for you and your family at any time. Community service of any kind qualifies to be added. Do you serve in the nursery, on the prayer team, on the worship team at church? Input those service hours in the Family portal. The deadline for service hours is the end of May.
Baxter Health will host free sports physicals for student athletes (in grades 7 – 12 next year and college bound) on Monday, April 20 ( sorry girls, we received this too late for you to use.) and Wednesday, April 22 (boys) beginning at 6:00 p.m. in their Physical Therapy Department located just inside the Main Entrance. Please use the physical form to find the time your student's grade should arrive.
Student athletes must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and have their paperwork completed upon arrival. Download a physical form here: https://aptg.co/3hrspy
Finally, we still could use some volunteers for Teacher Appreciation week and we have some need for one or two volunteers to help get our polo closet in order. Sign up here: https://www.mountainhomechristianacademy.com/article/2361539

Hi MHCA friends,
We have several needs to convey to you.
We need volunteers to help us set up for the High School Formal. You would need to go to the Miser in Cotter, AR (502 2nd street) at 12:30 on Thursday, April 16. If we have a good team of volunteers, the set up will be a breeze and is really a lot of fun. If you can commit any amount of time to help, please sign up here: https://www.mountainhomechristianacademy.com/article/2361539
K-12 families, Log into Class Wallet and approve your tuition requests if you have not already.
Don't forget to log your service hours for you and your students. Your FACTS account will receive charges if you have not met the service requirements for you and your family. Here are the requirements as a reminder. K-12 families are required to serve 10 hours per year. This can be at the school, at your church, or in the community. 7/8th grade students are required to serve 10 hours per school year. 9th-12th grade students are required to serve 25 hours per school year. The entire famliy's hours are counted and the fee is pro-rated according to the hours served if you did not meet the requirements. You can input those hours for you and your student in the FACTS family portal. FYI: If you recruited an Event sponsor for FD ball and Night w/y Knight, I plan to input those service hours tomorrow.
Today is the last day to apply for the ACE scholarship. The ACE scholarship can be stacked with EFA funds for qualifying families. Details on our website under Financial Aid.
Hello M.H.C.A. friends,
this message is for families of students in Kindergarten through 12th grade that use E.F.A. funds to help pay tuition. If you have not already done so, please log into ClassWallet today and approve the tuition payment requests we have sent. If you can't remember the procedure to approve the requests, you will find a document on our app and website in the document section that is labeled "Financial Aid" that will help you with the process. The p.d.f. is called "Class Wallet Payment Approval Request Process". Please reach out to Vanessa at the school if you have any trouble approving the requests or with any other questions you may have.
You may have 2 payment requests ready if I thought you may have leftover EFA funds from the previous year. If that's not the case, you can send me an email to invoice you for the amount that you do have left or you can simply reject that payment request in Class Wallet.
Thanks so much!
Here's what's happening this school week:
