Here's what's happening this school week:

• Tuesday, Oct. 28: EFA accounts for K-12 were funded today. Please login (no later than tomorrow) to approve those tuition payment requests. If you need a tutorial in how to approve the request, you can access that here:

• Tuesday, Oct. 28: 10-Fourteen bible study meetings started today during the lunches of 6th-12th graders. This meeting will take place once a month.

• Tuesday, Oct. 28: Eagle Basketball travels to Mt. Judea tonight. MHCA vs. Mt. Judea at 5:00pm

• Wednesday, Oct. 29: Chapel guest will be Justice Didway, the youth minister of Christian Church of MH. MHCA friends and family are welcome to attend our chapel sessions beginning at 8:00am. See the attached image for times.

• Wednesday, Oct. 29: Red Ribbon Week dress up day. Wear your favorite team gear! "Team up against drugs!"

• Thursday, Oct. 30: Red Ribbon Week dress up day. Wear Red and Black or your MHCA school Tshirt. "Our school chooses to be drug-free!"

• Thursday, Nov. 20: Student and Staff Thanksgiving Lunch, orders must be placed with homeroom/Bible teacher by Thursday, November 13th. See the flyer for details.

• Monday, Dec. 8th: MHCA Christmas Program at 6:00pm at Real Life Church

We have several new volunteer opportunities available to earn service hours! The most recent posting of needs can always be found on the app or website under News! Basketball season and concessions begin this Friday! We also need a couple more bakers to prepare some dishes to honor our pastors at the MHCA Pastor Appreciation breakfast this Monday, Oct. 27. MHCA is celebrating Red Ribbon week Oct. 27-30 (next week) with some special dress up days! We want to honor the Lord by choosing things that are good for our bodies, not harmful. Thank you Lord for the breath in our lungs, help us to live today and everyday for you! See the flyer for details!

• Wednesday, Oct. 22: Our chapel guest is Jody Hurst. MHCA families/friends are welcome to attend our chapel services.

• Friday, Oct. 24: Red vs. Black MHCA Basketball scrimmage game at 5:30pm

• Saturday, Oct. 25: National Homeschool Invitational Meet for Cross Country in Springfield, MO.

• New basketball serving schedule coming soon.

• Tuesday, Oct. 28: K-12 EFA accounts are expected to be funded. Tuition payment requests will also go out that day as well. Please log in and approve your payment requests the evening of the 28th or the morning of the 29th. We want to give plenty of time for the funds to arrive and be posted before the due date in FACTS. • Tuesday, Oct. 28: 10Fourteen bible club meets @ lunch for 6th -12th grade

Mountain Home Christian Academy's Varsity Volleyball Team is the HCAA (Heartland Christian Athletic Association) 2A Tri-State Varsity Volleyball Champion for a 2nd year in a row.

The tournament took place on Saturday, October 18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christian school teams from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas competed for the state title, starting with pool play in the morning and bracket play in the afternoon.

MHCA went 5-1 in Pool Play defeating Valley Christian, Lakewood Christian and splitting with Gospel Light then went undefeated in bracket play to claim the title.
