Some of our students have just returned from Piedras Negras, MX and served in many capacities at the Christian school there. Here's a few snapshots of some of them judging the spelling bee in English!

We are excited that our new uniform portal is now live, and with it comes a fresh and unified look for our students at Mountain Home Christian Academy! This marks a significant step forward as we transition from simply looking similar to truly wearing a consistent school uniform that reflects the values of Mountain Home Christian Academy: Magnifying Christ, Humility, Character, and Academic Achievement. After having a number of our students look at the items and getting their input, we were able to select items for the portal that they liked and that meet our school dress code. To make sure that we have consistent school uniforms, only items purchased through the uniform portal will be approved for daily wear. This includes tops, bottoms, outerwear—everything! Items from previous years or similar-looking alternatives will no longer be accepted. This change will help eliminate confusion and ensure our students consistently present themselves with the same high standard that we aim to uphold in all areas of school life. On a recent mission trip to Guatemala, I was able to see students from several schools where students proudly wore true uniforms. In a country where 60% of the population is below the poverty line, the visual impact was striking—the unity, the neatness, and the sense of identity it gave those students was undeniable. It made me even more excited for what this will mean for MHCA as we raise the bar not just academically or spiritually, but in how we represent ourselves daily. We believe this move will help us better reflect who we are: a school that Educates minds, shepherds hearts, and graduates Disciples. Thank you for your support as we move forward with this exciting new standard. P.S. from Mrs. Peglar: What can we do with our old polos with the MHCA logo on them? If you have a preschool student, they can still wear the previous uniform/dress code and shop /exhcange polos in our closet in the Early Education building. If your student is above preschool age, you can bring your polos to "Get the Scoop" on Aug. 1 and drop them in our 'drop box". We plan to find an organization in need that could utilize those polos. Hello MHCA friends, The MHCA uniform portal is now open. The portal will remain open until Monday, June 16th at 5:00pm (two weeks) Every student will have $200 available to spend to purchase enough uniform pieces for 3 days. The 4th day of each school week will be a MHCA school Tshirt and jeans day (The school will provide the tshirt as usual.)We recommend ordering 3 bottoms, 3 polos, and 1 outerwear or for girls that enjoy dresses, a couple of dresses, 1 bottom, 1 polo, and 1 outerwear. You are asolutely welcomed to order more than those pieces, but you will be responsible for anything you order over the amount of $200. Each family should have received a coupon code today. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the email. As with any other discount code, you will apply the code at checkout. We are using the Lockerroom, they have created a great uniform portal for us. Some of the sizes of every uniform piece, are available to look at in the store at the Lockerroom to help with sizing. He has also posted a link in each description that will give you further help with sizing. We are also getting our MHCA logo updated so we will no longer be using previous branded uniform pieces or outerwear for grades K-12. After placing your order online, the order as a whole will not be placed by our vendor until the ordering window closes on June . When the uniforms arrive , they will already be embrodered with the school logo and you will be contacted to pick up your order at the LockerRoom in Mtn. Home. You can access the uniform portal here: https://mhcauniforms.itemorder.com/shop/home/

A few priceless moments. Mr.T and his last signing. Mrs. Peglar is getting comfortable as she signs, and Mr. Byrd with his gentle words talking with a student as he signs her yearbook.

Operation campus sparkle! From cleaning the bleachers, to cleaning the microwaves, to washing all of the outside door glass,, picking up the trash on our campus and our friends at Mountain Home Baptist, to organizing the concession stand, to shop, vacuuming the corridors, to cleaning the lockers, to cleaning the school van, as well as all the classroom whiteboards, gym trash cans, baseboards, and window sills. The school has never smelled better.

Making memories with our staff, students, parents, pastors, and friends of our supporting churches. As a teacher, I want to express my gratitude for these volunteers. Thank you so much for your help. Each one played a vital part in completing our 1st Annual Camping on Campus. A couple of parents weren't in the photos but helped in a huge way. Again, thank you for making this a memory in the books for 2025.

Thank you to every parent who gave their time and talents and donated treats. Today was a day full of fun, and we couldn't have made it happen without our awesome MHCA Team and Family ❤️
