Hey friends, as we approach a new school year it is our hope that our students, families, and friends take a step back from the digital world and connect face to face with one another and spend time in the Word! Perhaps you have joined our January Digital Detox Challenge, if you haven't, it's not too late. For the month of January, our presence on social media as a school and individuals will be quiet. Thank you Lord for the ability to "renew our minds" by focusing on You and Your Word! See you again in February!

Today we presented the January Digital Detox to our 6th-12th grade students and the group of students who responded to participate was such an encouragement. This digital fast can be setup to best suit your family. The rules are of your own making. If you or your family didn't get a chance to sign-up, commit today. It's only one month! We will send you a weekly email with some devotions, words of encouragement, and some fresh, intentional, non-tech ideas for your family each week of January.

Dear MHCA Parents,
We are excited to share an improvement to our enrollment process that will make re-enrolling your child quicker and easier in the years ahead.
Beginning this year, Mountain Home Christian Academy will be moving to continuous enrollment. This means that instead of completing a full re-enrollment process each spring, families will sign a one-time Continuous Enrollment Agreement indicating their intent to remain enrolled at MHCA from year to year unless they notify us otherwise.
How this benefits you:
Saves you time: When spring re-enrollment opens, enrollment will be automatic, eliminating the need to complete online paperwork.
How this benefits MHCA:
Better planning: Continuous enrollment helps us more accurately plan staffing, class sizes, and resources for the upcoming school year.
Today, you have received a Continuous Enrollment Agreement digitally to review, sign, and submit. You will find that agreement HERE! We can also send home a paper copy of the agreement for families who prefer to sign and return it in hard copy, just communicate with the school office.
Once this agreement is on file, re-enrollment this spring will be automatic unless you communicate with MHCA that you will be withdrawing a student.
Thank you for partnering with us and for your continued trust in Mountain Home Christian Academy. If you have any questions about continuous enrollment, please feel free to contact the school office.
(If the above agreement link does not work, please check your email. A duplicate message has been sent to the email we have on file.)

Also, don't forget, the missions team is continuing their hot coffee, iced coffee, hot cocoa sales in the main car line and also inside the gym in the concession stand. All proceeds go to help offset the cost of their travel for their spring mission trip to Guatemala.
