Mark your calendar for Get the Scoop information fair on Aug. 1, 3:00-6:00pm and MHCA Open House on Aug 7, 5:00-8:00pm. Bring those updated vaccination documents or your student's approved exemption form. These are needed for your student to start school.

Today, the ADE began onboarding our families into the system. Some of you may have received an email today to get started by creating your Classwallet accounts. Instructions will be included in the email. If you did not receive your email to get started today, please be watching for the email in the coming days. If you do not know if your student is approved yet, please reach out to me, we need to get that resolved! The deadline is August 15th!

We are thrilled to announce that Mountain Home Christian Academy is now fully accredited through Cognia, recognized by NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI—three of the most respected accreditation agencies in the world! This is a huge milestone for our school, and we are incredibly thankful for Debbie Atkinson, who led the charge with grace and diligence, and for all our staff members who all played a vital role in this accomplishment. Accreditation affirms the excellence of our academic programs, strengthens our reputation, and opens up new opportunities for our students. This is a moment of celebration for all of us—thank you for being part of the MHCA mission!

Hello school family, Mrs. Forrest is working on closing out the prior school year in FACTS. During the next week, she will be updating and inputting tuition amounts for the next school year and making sure each family who is EFA approved is set up on quarterly payments. Please note you will see the full tuition amount in FACTS each quarter. The EFA funding will not be posted until it is received by the school each quarter. The first due date for tuition payment is September 15th for quarterly payers. EFA families can expect to receive $1716 towards tuition per quarter. You are responsible for the remaining amount, unless your student has been approved for the ACE scholarship. Although your remaining balance is due by Sept. 15th, you are welcome to pay your portion anytime before the due date through FACTS, even breaking it up into multiple payments. However, you will not be prompted to do that since your payment plan is set to quarterly. If you are a family with only a pre-school student enrolled, you may be set to monthly payments if you selected that at enrollment. If so, your first payment will be Aug. 1 or 5 (depending on what you selected). If you have questions or need help with the financial settings on your FACTS account, reach out to Mrs. Forrest at 870-424-6622. Remember, you can access financial information as well as student grades, etc in the FACTS family portal. Go to factsmgt.com, click on family portal, and use your FACTS credentials. Our school code is mh-ar.

This is for the families that are enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year at MHCA with students in K-12th grade and have applied for the EFA program,. If you have not applied for the EFA program, it's not too late! Go to www.ChooseMhca.com to find the link to apply. They plan to keep the portal open only until funding runs out or end of summer.

Today is the last day to get your order in for school uniforms. If you are an enrolled student, your family received a code to offset the cost of uniforms. The portal will close tonight and the order will be made. If you missed the chance to order this time, the portal will be reopened at a later date to get the orders of new students who have enrolled.
